Over 100 local residents went to visit Empowering Youth’s “Magic of Nature” children’s exhibition at Pensford Field in Kew on Wednesday 22nd October 2014.

Artist Farah Husain and Youth Coach Pam Ibrahima worked with the young people in the field and studio to create an outstanding display of colourful photography, mono printing, sewing and craft based on the beautiful natural surroundings of Pensfold Field.

Supported by a Civic Pride grant and Pensfold Field Trust, the event was opened by Cir. Meena Bond, cabinet member for the arts, and Rachel Tranter, Richmond Head of Arts, local people describe the exhibition as an inspiring and amazing opportunity for children to showcase their work, reflected the importance of the Field as a haven of peace and tranquillity for the local community.

Empowering Youth gives young children the chance to express themselves through Arts, Crafts and Photography, offering them the chance to develop their skills and talents, and feel a sense of achievement through doing public exhibitions of their work.
